Thats  funny

:rotfl:

In my game, my advisor was saying "comparing to these guys, we have a strong military", but his face was just so sad when he said it.

I've seen an advisor mad because a city flipped to me. :)

My military advisor was once sad when he said "Compared to these guys, we have a strong military":D

Some of those advisors are crazy. Once, the domestic advisor told me that the citizens in a city were happy, but she had a sad face. That foreign advisor is like bipolar or something. Once it was like, "russia is in awe of our culture" and he was so sad! Weird...

The advisor's "mood" is prolly just random.... So that might explain the weird times to be happy/sad.

I don't pay attention to my advisors much.... I read the text... hit enter... and continue.

I love it when ym two biggest enemies that have an alliance against me turn on each other - and the advisor makes a sad face.....

It is not random, IIRC, it is found in one of the text files. And that means a modder or yourself could fix it.

He's also not paying attention. Once, I creamed the Chinese with an alliance with all the other civs. I had the other civs break their peace treaties early with China when they signed one (grrr) and come back with me. My stupid FA told me as I was talking to Lincoln (my ally) that "We know that Lincoln betrayed our friends the Chinese" (surly face) I know! Duh! I forced him to do that and the Chinese were our enemy. Ugh. :p

Yes indeed, the advisors all seem a little unpredicable in their emotional states. The exception to this theory is, of course, the trade advisor, who is always irritated. No amount of luxury resources could calm the wrath of that sadistic woman

I know! I once had all eight luxuries and one of each resources (some multiples) and she STILL wasn't happy. She wanted me to get more things! Sometimes, lady, it's time to chill. I don't listen to my advisors very much anymore. I used to listen quite a lot when I first started because I didn't know what I was doing. Now I realize, they made it even worse for me. I thought I needed "a larger military", siphon MORE money into science, and give all of my incense away to China. :sigh:

 Yeah I used to do that to. I geuss we all are new at some point. Can't expect much more from a computer you know. Still no concept of loyalty or strategy. :crazyeye:

Oh, I can name many. The Military Advisor says, with a SAD face, that our military is superior. The Domestic Advisor says w/ a happy face that our cities are not growing. The only innocent advisor is the cultural one

Actually, the cultural one is a whacko too. Once she told me that if we built libraries, we get lots of people. Most of the time, she is either beaming or wonder-y looking (eye wide). Sometimes she has a very angry look on her face. It's like, "All right! Fine! I'm working on it. Stop nagging..."
