Traitoristic foreign advisor.

I kind of hope they don't "fix" the advisors. They are very funny to watch. Hopefully they'll come up with some new text for them. Warning: Advisors are not for beginners!

Why is he so surprised and why is she so sad?

My advisor was frightened by this:

Oh no! Not the dreaded worker! Someone posted a pic once that said "The best unit the Russians have--that we know of-- is the Catherine." That one was awesome!

(Like your new avatar SuperBeaver, BTW)

I was forced to plead for mercy from Xerxes when I found out about this one

The first one, he just can't believe that they in awe of our culture. In fact, he was just totally stunt by that.

The second one, she was just so sad because we aren't studying the arts.:( Basically, we should have studied the arts but we didn't; therefore, she was so sad to see her leader leading the empire into the wrong path. If I was her, I would be sad too.:(

Yeah, the cultural advisor has become pessimistic because the arts study was ignored for such a long while...:(

about "the best unit":
The worker actually is a very powerful unit, so I'd be sad, too, if I knew the Persians had such...

My domestic advisor says stuff like: 'our people want to buil the Heroic Epic. Maybe we should...' I always reply sarcastically: 'maybe you shoul get ****ed!!!
I mean, who does she think she is? pointing out things I already know!! I'll build 'em when I'm good and ready! Or not at all!

That used to throw me off when I was a new player. My country was small, and you want to save the FP for later when you go far away from the capital. I thought I had to use it right away like a great wonder, otherwise I couldn't get it. :sigh: She needs to loosen up the buns on the sides of her head.

About the original post, when the foreign advisor comes back after you close that window, he says the EXACT same thing, only this time he's mad. I guess it takes him a while to figure out having people sign military alliances against you is a BAD thing.

Here is one that involved my citizens, they can't decide why they are rioting

The dreaded X, I'd riot too.;)

I find that message quite useful. I don't count my hospitals or banks, so sometimes I don't notice that I can build certain Wonders, and this advisor tells me about that.

This message gets even more useful with Iron Works. If that message doesn't appear then I don't have to waste time looking for a city that can build it.
