This game looks like it's going to be a blast. Is there any tribes veterans in this community or anyone else planning on playing this game?

This has got to be the worst and most consolized, dumbed down arcadey POS game I have ever seen. The jumping is utterly ridiculous, no iron sights, where are the bushes to hide in and snipe people out of? This is going to be utterly terrible.

I'm not really interested as I don't really play really fast paced twitch shooters very much but it looks pretty cool, hopefully it will be a true successor to the much talked about and classic Tribes series.

This is basically old school team death match, WYSIWYG. Basically it's Quake/Halo I/Unreal Tournament.

Not really interested either.

The first Tribes game was legendary at the time. The map size, character customization and flying vehicular combat were all relatively revolutionary, if they just bring the same formula again though, it'll pale in comparison to what we have today.

Ahhh Tribes!!!!! I have fond memories of playing tribes on a 56k modem and a slightly crappy computer. It was good times. I am happy to see it back. I will definently give it a go.

Hey I got into the Closed Beta of Tribes and I have to say it is really fun and feels like a great game

I have a lot of significant tribes memories. Is it too much to ask for those to be realized again? I hope not.

Tried the beta, just horrible. Really think I go to Planetside 2 instead. HiRez's Global Agenda is still decent.
