A game scenario for discussion? Hmmm, how about this:
Around 1000 AD, we've built 3 cities, explored half of our continent & met one civilization: Tokugawa.
Tokugawa has declared war on us. One of our stacks is poised, ready to siege one of his cities. One of his stacks is trying to do the same to one of our cities. Our cities are just finishing up their last builds and preparing to switch projects, if need be, to support the war effort.
Beyond our borders, a Settler & co. is looking for a good spot to settle. One of our scouts also contacts Victoria; she opens diplomacy with us. Other scouts & galleys continue to explore the unknown.
We have also just learned Theology; opening up the new civic of Theology. We've also founded Christianity, and we have a sleeping Great Prophet we could use to build a shrine for it.
