Trouble Declaring War!

Firstly, hello to all! I've been reading the forums a wee bit up to now, thinking about joining, but now I've actually got an problem that I need help with I've got the impetus to get on with it at last!

ANyway, I've annoyed Alexander, and he won't talk to me, so I can't declare war! I've tried to just attack him, but the option isn't there, I just can't move in to his territory to force the issue! Any thoughts? I'm sure I should be able to just attack and select the war/maybe not option. Perhaps a bug? I think I've got the latest version....

press "Alt" and click on the Leader's name in the Score board and you have declared war

ahh, brilliant cheers. I invaded my other neighbour instead.... Hatty was leading the score board, but now after my horde of redcoats streamed over her borders!
