Trouble with the "Romance of the 3 Kingdoms" scenario

I downloaded the "Romance of the 3 Kingdoms" CivII scenario from the download section, and when I tried starting it I got a "this program has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down" notice on my computer. Is there a patch to fix this, or a known updated version that doesn't contain whatever bug vexes this one?

I was disappointed, I LOVED the RTK series of games and was looking forward to playing with it in a "civ" perspective. Anyone?

(BTW, I have the CivII Multiplayer Gold edition, which supposedly meets all scenario requirements.)

Ahem... sorry, but my scen was about Chan Kuo - and not San Kuo - period... It's quite different <IMG SRC="http://forums.civfanatics.com/ubb/smile.gif" border=0>: Chan means "War", "Warring", "San" means Three... But i made a unit patch conversion in order to update this Romance of Three kindom scen - remember my Fate of the Dragon thread? Just change unit images and "voilà, les joeux sont fait" ( sorry, bad french...)... I went there, I found CivII, but couldn't find any scenarios. I'm not very familiar with the site--do you have a link to the scenario directly? Like I said, I tried downloading the version here on this site, but it gave me errors. And I have the latest Multiplayer Gold Edition, which supposedly enables all the scenarios you'll find....

Thunderfall, are you famailiar with what I'm talking about? Hear of any problems from others, or a remedy?

What i was meaning is that maybe you don't have the right CivII Gold Multiplayer version. You can find it at www.gamespy.com. What you have to do is register and download it. It solved a lot of problems on my pc.

Anyway, i downloaded it and never had suckinda problems. maybe i can post it to you and see what happens... my e-mail is on top.

Yeah... all thankx to my new driver license. I stabled to go to Turin to celebrate a religious occasion with some relatives and my left foot went irritated in a bad way, like a redcoat uniform... the living hell on earth ( especially in an italian hospital ). Damn...

I hope you are home now. I once had to spend several moths in a hospital (long story), and it's no fun at all.
