Yep, this is really bad. This is a power play to test the waters on if they can get away with more of this. They likely will too.

I don't know a way out of this except for a mass revolt or a military coup.

Yup. Arresting a judge without an order of another competent judge is nothing but a coup of etat. A coup is not necessarily overthrowing a government but overthrowing a constitutional order, that has just happened in USA today. I don't see any solution but the ones you posted.

I don't know how much of the military is behind Trump. Obviously in case of civil war the constitutional side will get help from EU and such while Trump will get help from Russia.
 
It's more in the nature of an attempt to overthrow the constitutional order than a successful overthrow thereof. The constitutional order may yet resist and withstand the assault.

More than a little concerning, but perhaps a little early to revolted and military actions are the only avenues left.
