Trung Sisters

Agreed! Leaders finishing each other’s sentences, speaking in unison, squabbling with each other over trade deals, power couples holding hands, etc. This would make diplomacy so much more fun!

No. I hated the horses. The game is already Disney enough as it is without animal sidekicks.

Tippy the tiger leads Nepal in Civilization VI: Furry Friends!

Kill it with fire.
Yes, you're a sour grape that hates fun. We get it.

Justinian and Theodora seem like the best fit for a dual leader. And even if the animation takes a lot of work, I would welcome that, it just seems fun. The Trung Sisters are of course also possible. How they get implemented gameplay wise (and not just graphically) is up for grabs, lots of ideas around here. I hope that creative plays like this is a way for them to test how to go on in civ 7 since I feel like adding Uniques gets harder and harder the more civ you have and thus it's time for a reform in that regard :)

Well, Holy Fury added animal leaders to CK2 (besides Glitterhoof, who was there for a long time, but couldn't become actual leader, only councilor/chancellor/etc.)

Although the perfect leader for Nepal in CK2 is of course this one, and not a Tippy the Tiger:

So I don't see why civ can't follow and introduce more animals.

Oh, wait, I forgot that civ VI is the much more serious game of these two. :crazyeye: Actually, come to think of it, it might be.

Trung Sister 1 starts to say something, but Trung Sister 2 puts her hand on Trung Sister 1's arm and whispers something into her ear. Trung Sister 1 then smiles and lets out a little giggle. That would make me a little bit paranoid to talk to them :)

Or, Nicholas II leads Russia, but every time you talk to him, a shadowy, creepy individual standing behind him leans forward and whispers in his ear . . .

You disgust me. But that red panda is adorable.

No it wouldn't. The point of leader screens is twofold:

1. You have a rapport with a personality, and

2. The personality communicates a clear agenda and values.

The first is for immersion, the second is for intuitive gameplay.

You don't have a rapport if the leaders are whispering to each other more than they are talking to you.

You don't have intuitive playstyles if they are squabbling (i.e. indecisive or vague) or switch roles (i.e. mercurial).

It's a bad, overly complicated, mechanically self-sabotaging gimmick that makes no sense with VI's design philosophy. Just because some modder could make a static leader screen with two or twenty leaders does not mean the same can or should be done for official content.

And worse is that this is a selling point of the civ, like people can't even think through the proposition enough to suggest a good UI. No, they see two leaders and think yeah, of course, auto include.

Please Firaxis, if you read this. Just one Trung. This is a stupid idea.

I mean, two leaders wouldn't need to giggle to each other, if that's what you're really worried about. The finishing of each other's sentences would work fine and get the point across.

They should use similar models for the twins (e.g. like Eleanor’s different artwork) and let you choose between them at the start.

Two leaders for Vietnam, minimal artistic differences needed.

Whichever sister you didn’t pick can become a unique governor — with Nhi replacing Magnus or Trac replacing Victor.

So you don't really want either of them to have a personality? Just half a personality? Some weird sexist, orientalist Siamese twin fantasy that is neither Siamese nor twins?

Nope, and it's kind of weird that that's your argument. I honestly don't care either way, if you're asking for my honest opinion, but your argument makes zero sense. Or, like, is it possible for something to make negative sense?
