French cities continue to fall to the unerring march of victory by confident German troops. Orleans' tiny "liberation" army was quickly turned aside and German troops once again patrol the streets. Also, the St.Nazaire port was taken, greatly increasing German naval capabilities. U-boat captains report that their range has increased by 50% and are now able to patrol the Atlantic gauntlet much more efficiently. The first real resistance to German occupation was found in the French city Vichy where General Weygand had hastily erected impressive fortifications. They were taken down, but not without losses. The battle for the southern, more heavily guarded, but also more productive, French cities has just begun.

The Reichstag applauds the supreme Soviet education program and wishes them the best of luck in the upgrading of worker skills and their attention to the future. All polish "freedom" fighters have been detained and will be re-educated at various camps throughout the country side.

The Soviet Union once again offers to mediate an agreement to cease the bloodshed in Western Europe. General Vorishilov has expressed his amazement that the brave but misguided French would continue to fight in their hopeless situation. Such is the power of the nation state.


Soviet literacy produces rapid results throughout the countryside. Children proudly learn the joy of reading as the benevolent Soviet educators continue to enlighten are young minds. A sample of text a reading drill

Defenders of French homeland have fought one more month..

General Weygand said in his report that he has managed to more or less stabilize the front, but the German Wehrmacht, who has huge numerical superiority, still continues his advance.

After listening this report, French Prime Minister Reynaud gave order to demolish all factories and other strategically important buildings in cities which are likely to fall to Germans.

Yugoslavian state is now totally within German hands, the liberation of Tirana as well as the conquest of Bordeaux has also gone smoothly. The Allied occupational force in Narvik is proving difficult to displace, the Polish troops as well as Marine forces have hunkered down. The German Wehrmacht is content to occupy the productive areas surrounding Narvik and wait for reinforcements. German Intelligence agents intercepted a message from the American government concerning a transport heading towards England. U-boat commanders where ordered to sink it or risk becoming experimental torpedoes. Needless to say, the transport was promptly eliminated. That doesn't speak much for American "neutrality". I hope this episode will not be repeated.

German educators have taken a page out of Russia's book and have been promoting the virtues of literacy and appreciation of the classics. It is strange how old some people claim these books to be when they only have been written in the last decade or so. Some misguided scholars believe A Tale of Two Cities to be an American book when our most beloved leader had put the finishing touches on it not 2 years ago. The Merchant of Venice, also penned by our most munnificent commander, has only been available on German shelves for 5 years or so, not "400 years". The printing press was only invented at the turn of the century, how could a book have been published so many years ago? German intellectuals are certain they can "convince" the populace to see the truth. Eventually. Long life the Fatherland.

Russian literary critics applaud the German move towards educate, though politely reminding them that the limit of creative "borrowing" ends at either Tolstoy or Dotskeyevsky. Then again, any Non-Russian attempting to read such works without an adequate supply of Vodka could not be expected to survive. (Of course, we are open to exporting Vodka to the Reich).

In other news, a young Russian Checkov was preventing from corssing the border by the glorious Red Army, after he repeadetly insisted all things were created in Russia.

Declaration for all European nations:

Spain don't want to be involved in this war. We want to live in peace. But we have to protect our independence against German aggressors. French are

retreating everywhere and they can't defend Africa against Axis. If Italy conquers their West-African colonies then Spain is surrounded and we have no hope. To do our best against Germans we need better industrial base.

Spain has decided to take control of West Africa. Our armies are already moving and we marched to Algiers and Ouhran.
