Turkcell Super Lig

Galatasaray, Beşiktaş and Fenerbahçe and some other lucky team get to the semi's, and after that it's whichever club's fans injure the most of the other club's fans.... :(

^^ Reason why i don't watch it. every game there's some stupid fan who jumps on the field or stabs another fan or something... And you guys have some weird traditions to (ie: alot of whistling to scare of the other team, or whenever their team scores all the fans "slide" down the stadium)

I'd watch a galatasaray - some random european team ECC game though.

Since 16 weeks nothing happened.And last stab was around 9 months ago.

Football is passion.I do not applaud hooliganism or studipity,but..

Every team has rivals and bad relations.For me Fenerbahce is my wife and Galatasaray is an Idiot.A galatasaray fan sees himself as birdhunter.A fenerbahçe fan thinks that he is a lion tamer.

Every real man loves his wife much and have a negative attitude towards Idıots:)

I think you got the point now about the passionate deeds of turkish fans.:lol:

What you wrote translates into: One day everbody is gonna get (something) at Fenerbahce.

Correct one is: Bir gun herkes Fenerbahce'li olacak.

which means: One day everbody will became a Fenerbahce fan.
 
that's it! it was 'olacak' i couldn't remember. it was written on a very large sign when i was on holiday a couple of years ago. it was right, too. i bought a fenerbahce shirt (and the turkish second shirt to be safe! ;) )
 
i sometimes tune in to the big istanbul derbies. turkcell is a good muxture of players with excellent technical abilities, a good dose of fighting spirit and, well a very heated atmosphere :)
