Turn 114 - 270BC

5) Development plan for city of Unlucky Harbor: There is a forest chop there due in a few turns. What is good to build there? The city is apparently corrupt but can have a great potential after FP is finished. We can certainly invest in defenses or infrastructure. Or use the shields to build a regular spearman.

We need workers and with a tree chopping we would get one soon. Plus with this city underdefended if we kept the pop at one it would not survive an attack.... (I'd prefer) for the city to die rather than give it to c3b.

Unless we keep Savannah at 6, iirc, we can not move Ryttyla to 10. Getting Ryttyla to 10 spt is probably far more useful.

Question: are we going to plan for a seaborne invasion or not? If we are, then we need to know that right now.

Horses should be hooked up in 2 or 3 turns...depending upon what the workers in the trees are doing near Unlucky Harbor. I still like the names proposed before such as Joker's Horseshoe, but would certainly go for Rancho Meleet.

If we were to build 2 cities north of Khazad Dum and build roads one north and one south of each city (but not connected to each other), it would facilitate our troop movements to C3B. We could keep these cities at size 1 so that if the cities were captured they would be autorazed and the roads would be unuseable to the C3B team (since the razed cities would not have roads, thus there would be a series of broken roads in wilderness...)

Rcoutme

You better just poll the seaborne invasion. The evidence is all there, their dislocated immortal stack on the mountain, their military size, the backwards location of Fortaleza and so on. We even know we got horses, which techs we may get, We know that CDZ is not a Dutch Welfare State or some solidaric Anarcho-syndicalist community, we know that C3B needs to lose for us to win, we know that the beauty of the Brazillian Cat and the Value of Dutch beer is overrated for gaming strategy purposes, and we know that delaying the invasion much more longer would make little sense.

And for the people of the UN forum, show them that we are made of steel, and talk through conquest, not political correctness.

Well, polling invasion requires discussion of the plan first and improvement of it as might deem needed as well as balancing it with other aspects of the game. Rcoutme and me have roughly estimated the number of Immortals the C3B can have and it is somewhere from 12-15 up to 20 provided they have enough cash for the upgrade. And these numbers are increasing every turn apparently. The problem is that we have little knowledge of their research plans and whether they are stockpiling gold and building veteran warriors or trying to get to Middle Ages and acquire their free tech as soon as possible. If first is the case, we may fail with military invasion. If second it the case, we may succeed with invasion. But in any case success will be limited.

Anyhow, there is a great need for a very comprehensive plan. The CoG plan was good but not comprehensive enough.

Which was why I asked for input, input I only got from you and one more, with some whimpering from a couple of others. If everyone provided inputs like you did, the plan may be complete. However, the timely delay gave new intel, needed intel. Yet, the messianic belief in the philantrophy from CDZ came to a halt, and now we are back to pure strategy again. I also think we should not worry about Brazillian women and Dutch beer in a computer game.
I got women right and left, but no need to find them in a Demogame.
