I've played the turn, but no screenies. I'm just to lazy and it's to late in the evening/night.

I'm sending out the save to everyone on the list though.

I've also sent this mail to some of Apolytons and our leaders:
All right, I'm done thinking.

I do not believe that CFC will be powerfull enough to take Leo's. We will probably end up in the middle of a hoard of GWT units.

I suggest that we attack Cervoice and Zweimeersblick and try to pillage that road to cut the connection between the upper and lower parts of the continent. Then we withdraw and sail down to GCAs new cities, but far enough out so they won't see us. Hopefully they will think that that attack was all we could do. Then we should land and try to burn a number of the GCA's cities before withdrawing.

Any comments? I know I'm not the best Civ player here, so advice and comments is very welcome.

We're getting about 75-80gpt even when we are paying Poly about 25gold each turn. :)

Erm.. oh, Rik was talking about Leo's.
Don't know what I was thinking.

Anyway, we only have an embassy with GCA. If we want to spy on GWT, we'll have to establish an embassy there as well, and they will know we might be spying...

Money is no problem however, but there is another one. We will not be able to see GWTs forces in the vicinity of Leo's. We'll need two turns to get in position after we land, in which GWT can simply place more than 12 units in Leo's and deny it to us. :(

Our lack of embassy with GWT might be a problem, but they could also thikn that we're spying for Poly... I think we should install the embassy and investigate...

And we'll see how much forces GWT has there near Leo's, but only the city radius IIRC. Not sure, though.

Investigation will only be the city square.

They probably do have alot of troops there. I was thinking along the lines of making them disband more troops instead of upgrading them as it would have cost them twice as much. Though, I can see them having alot of troops in the area and alot less in smaller corrupted cities (It's the best way of doing things after all). Destroying the FP is even more vital. Poly has that under wraps, no? Can I get a map? I bet the FP is heavily guarded. Well, I'll shut up, until I can get a map for the Allied fleets and possible targets.

Please everybody check the UN so you know what's going on.

And could someone send FortyJ the last 3 saves?

I'll do that tonight if noone else does...

Sorry for being away for so long..........

I really feel that the thing to do is wait.

We have quite a tech lead at this time, and if we can b ethe first to Steam Power(and Ironclads), we will have a much easier time storming the GWT mainland. In the meantime, we can build and build and build so that we have a formidable offense.

Granted, GWT/GCA will be able to do the same, but if we can be ready to advance Riflemen, Cavalry and Ironclads to their Miskets, Knights, and Caravels, I like our odds.

Granted, all this is said without looking at the latest save. I will take a peek when I get a chance and see what we can do to salvage this thing.

The game is at halt currently and nothing is happening at the eb´mbassy so I don't know what Poly is planning. :undecide:

Trying to find out, though..

Clever idea DZ!
