the time has come to set a time for our first turn chat.The president will present in the Cfc Chat room while playing his first ten turn's.(And our president is an op of that channel)
It is up to our president to set a good hour.Preferably a time when a lot of the member's are online.Our president is from European origin ,wich mean's that a later time (22h-23h or later) is to be advised.(yes Grey with all those American's on this board our timezone kinda suck's )

Everybody that wants to come is welcome.

I put forward a motion if not already in place all times should be expressed as gmt.
Then if you are like me Eastern Seaboard,you -5 from the gmt to get your local start.So 22h gmt is 17hDst

The game was set to start today ,April 1 ,but due to the forum being down some time i hope we can still make it today.Time og play would be 23.00H Gmt+1 thus 22.00h Gmt if Greyfox can make that ,otherwise he'll have to propose another time.

Not to mention military time is a bit unusual (and akward, unfamilar) for those of us living on the east coast.

Sort of like the metric system, we Americans simply refuse to conform to the world standard

Take the Greenwich Meridian Time (GMT) and subtract 5 hours to get your local 24-hour (military) time. For the times we're talking about here, subtract another 12 hours to find your PM time in Eastern Standard. So, just subtract 17 hours from 23 GMT to get 6 PM EST.

To make a long story short, it won't work.

The long story -
I have a daul boot OS, and on the good one, IE and Netscape won't work with the MS Dialup (I don't use MSN, AOL or anything - NS6 email works, though), but only Netscape 4.72 works with TCPMAN. So, I have to use the "Oracle chewed and spit out"-OS, of which IE does work... Oh well... (I'll try NS 6.0)...
