Turn chat.

I will not be attending the turn chat tonight, on the account of beer. marshalljames is my deputy, but I am not sure if he is available at that time. I appoint Immortal as a temporary deputy if this is the case, as he is usually there anyway, though it looks as though he may be a governor soon. My decisions on build queues are posted in Donsig's thread, though I would not mind if someone started a poll of the citizenry to override any of these. In fact, if anyone other than Donsig believes we should build a spearman in Civinator, please post a poll, as if there are two, there may be many. If I did not mention a cities build queue, I probably intend for it to remain on what it is currently building. Once PDX finishes its barracks, it should definately build units, the type being up to the military department.
 
The position of Undersecretary of Foreign Affairs is now held by Immortal. Immortal is an official chat presence for the Department of Foreign Affairs. In the even that Shaitan or Benjamin Miller are not attending a turn chat, (which is unfortunately the norm) Immortal is the official voice of the Department.
 
I will not be able to participate in the turn chat today, due to a rare oppurtunity to play D&D. Since Immortal is not the Foreign Affairs departments rep, I would like to ask Skilord to act in this respect for the domestic department.

Right now the poll to decide what to do with the settler Eyr just built is tied. If it remains so when the chat starts, that settler should go to the SE, to whichever position the Egyptian settler does not take. If, for some reason, the Egyptians are not settling near there, I will leave the decision up to the president.\

I hear the Chain of Command broke down in the last turn. I wish I could have made it, but I was imprisoned by a strange race of bidepal roaches:crazyeye: . I do not think it was any huge loss that only one turn was played, as this is a critical time for Phoenatica. However, Shaitan has proposed some changes to extend the chain of command that should keep this from happening again.
 
The next Turn Chat will take place April 16th at 23:30 GMT.

I hope my Internet Connection won't be crappy then. Or something personal get's in the way like last time.
 
Is anyone at all online at the moment? Need help urgently! I am having severe problems entering turn chat either using mIRC or the Civfanatics site. Could be proxy problem?

The DOC may not be represented at today's chat session, as Justus II won't be able to attend because of work and i have to run over to the next county for a while. I will try to make it back in time.
 
I suggest the next turn chat only play enough turns to take a shot at Washington and Houston, and then stop. Someone should then explore the possible peace treaty conditions with America, and post them so we can discuss and vote.

How does that work, if the President is not going to be there? Does the Vice President control the game, or does no game take place and we just discuss what we're going to do?:confused:
