Turn Discussion Thread

I agree time is of the essence, I suggest you log in because there is a sizable Amazon stack in the nexus. So talking to both Amazon and Quat is imperitive so we can actually make progress against Mav.

OK, i've seen the Amazon stack. We have a decent stack near them, so we are ready.

What is the best way to communicate with them? via Gmail?

Yes Gmail is our usual way.

We also have forces in Beta Centuari that can be ferried over if necessary.

no time to lose, here is what i've just sent to Quat and Ama

Hail Amazon and Quatronia

I'm in charge for the war efforts and i'd like to coordinate our actions.
I'd like also to discuss possible new land sharing, to avoid any repercussion in future.

A coordinate plan can definetely keep the Mavs in their home island, with no hope to put out their nose again.

To avoid lost time, my first war action will be... build a road in that desert tile, so we can speed up our reinforcements.
The second... ahh yes, move the stack.

Plase let me know your thoughts, so we can start plan the best path and so on.

FYI, i'm in GMT-1.

Best regards,
Blubmuz, on behalf of Team Sirius
I hope it's OK. Later i will post in the appropriate threads.

I am all in favor of BLubmuz running military operations. In addition to gmail, the quickest way to contact our allies is to PM the current turnplayer (who can be determined by looking at the CivStat log).

I built the road in the desert tile to speed up reinforcements.
At present it will probably be more useful to ama than to us, since we already have all our troops in that tile.
I also made some minor adjustements, like to swap the archer with the warrior in the fort city. If we stack the workers next turn the fort will be completed.

I also loaded the 2 EIs with all our army in the west coast. Kept them inside our borders, waiting to see the best use for them.

I think we can propose to Ama to keep the 2 northernmost cities (Copper and SpotB) and help them to conquer the 2 southernmost, unless Quat won't actively take part to this fight, so they can claim some right.

I will update tomorrow the diplo threads, i hope to see some answer from them in the meantime.

In Gmail i added all our contacts to the contact list, to ease things.
Can we delete all the "new turn" messages? It seems a lot of noise.

I posted the last turn I played in Turn Tracker thread. Sorry that I've missed posting a few turns on there.

It's good to see, we go forth in communication and make an intro. I'm surprise Ama goes against mav and not against Mer. Additional make this without message.

Blub :goodjob:

But I would land on another tile to conquer.
1. I don't know who 'll defend if Mav attacks.
2. With more attack goals from us, we divide mavs army or better they must decide, who they don't like best :)

The worker near Rigel should go at EI at Achenar and then next turn goes at forest near Arc, to chop there for Taj.
At Sol the worker has tiles near Betei to modernisize.

I 've looked at our army and make a prop for both forces.
The army at the EIs must wait 1 Turn to land and then I would land at copper and move over jungle to the hill there, only if the cats are not there, we can land direct at copper to attack next turn.
Our east force goes over jungle to spot, I vote for a attack of the jungle-road to the ivory tiles, to destroy it in 2 turns possible, if our spy see a chance for that. Nice is the Quat gallon near spot, perhaps it sees our united force and Quat can start an attack at poison or plague.

We need a missio in Capella, it's better than 2 :commerce: in Vega, so Vega should build him.
In Arc we grow to pop 10 in 2 turns, then we work additional 2 mines without any growing.

more ideas I don't have now.

Yeah, next turn i can land the 2 EIs on grassland, then move the stack on the jungled hill. It's not a great stack, but it can probably hold and guarantee we can take and hold SpotB.

I received nothing from our allies, so now i solicite some communication.

No need to pillage the road, a knight has the same moves of foot units in jungle.
I think the best choice is arrive, attack and possibly hold the city.

Edit
Here is what i just sent:
Hail Amazon and Quatronia,
i haven't seen any answer to my previous mail and next turn begins in some 7 hours from now.

I think that coordinating our war efforts is the key to quickly destroy M&M.
Please give me an answer.

I apologize, but i mistyped my time zone. I'm in GMT+1 (Italy)

Best regards and best luck for the war!

I think without the road, Mav lost ivory and you 've at jungle not the bad defense sit as at greenland.
Against our best unit knight, mav has only cats and WEs.

Should we build a settler in Sirius for founding a city on that spore, for accidently need?

No replies from Ama and Quat.

I logged to make some obvious moves:
- moved 2 workers to the fort, ready next turn
- moved the stack 1S, arrive to the gates of Spot next turn
- unloaded the EIs in our territory, to move the units in the jungle SE of Copper next turn
- moved the worker on the oasis to road. I usually always road the oasis and this is in center of the land.

In Anjen is the sit like I said, Ama lost their tiles to achenar. They 've no culture there.

I haved moved the worker.

The army against copper should there remain as a threat, to hold units in Copper or near.

We still have not had any response regarding that situation. I would not worry about it too much. We are trying to be helpful, we have only two cities there, and it's not as if they are unaware we are Creative.

There is only so much hand holding we can do in regards to the Anjen situation, we have given them ample time to build holy buildings, libraries and theatres.
