We should/had to decide what we want with Spot, destroy or conquer?
It's a race with Ama who done what?

Next turn both armys can do both! Spot has 2 Musk and then 2 LBs, we can bomb, then attack with catas, and after with mace or knights, I don't know what is best.
 
I've been saying burn for quite some time now. I feel like a broken record about it.

I landed our small diversion stack in grassland, there were no roads.
Damn Mavs roaded and lost only 2 units against our well assorted mini-stack.

Again an indecent luck in attacking.

About SpotB, i say let's take it and hold it. They have not enough troops who can arrive before the city is fully guarded. This can obviously depend on our luck in attacking. And if Ama logs before us.

BTW, still no answer from them or Quat. Those 4 Quat galleons are doing something, but what?

I guess we have to wait for rifles and cannons to have some chance after Mavs.

No time to bombard with cats, unles we want Ama take it.
Better sacrifice them, so our attckers have great chances. Then we can hold it with all our stack.
Maybe we can build some unit to garrison the fort, just to be safe.

Do you want a race, that is not so good, I think. If we attack next turn, we should say, so that Ama can remain at roads, then they can quicker next turn without Mavs culture there. I think we should say it, that we want the town for us.

I have not looked at the situation in-game, but I agree with HUSch, whatever we do we should at least try to coordinate or communicate with Amazon. Rushing in to grab a city away from our closest allies doesn't seem like a great idea. And with our luck we'd lose the entire stack anyway.

I guess we have to wait for rifles and cannons to have some chance after Mavs.

I thought this was our plan. Every time we try to make an attack of opportunity, it ends badly for us. As Irgy pointed out we have a lot of territory under our control already. All of it obtained peacefully.

I already asked them - twice - to coordinate our offensive and to discuss who will keep the cities, since if we can act together we both gain in units saved and in chances to hold the captured cities.

At this moment, still no answer from both. Just take a look in our mail box.

I see pointless or even counter-productive send them another mail.

Of course i hope they will write something before next turn. Otherwise, i rush! Unless they will beat me.

Let's lay a pitiful veil on our military performance this game. The only bright side id that we're 2 points away from our first GG.

BTW, how do will use it? I usually make the first a super-healer and settle the next ones. One in the HE city, the others where i find them more useful.

How can we hold Spot without their help, we 've not much there, if we lost our cats we 've nothing to destroy any army mav can send. In the captived town we are a target a long time, with good defense tiles for attackers. There is no reinforcement of our part. The army there is the only we 've.

So I would prefer you consider good before you decide to conquer. I vote for destroy, there is not much to gain.

For me it's clear we (all) can win against Mav in the spore but not, if there is no plan together. If we take the city and Quat goes at the ships and Ama goes anywhere, we lost the city again. Ansd this 'll be allways for anyone to take the city with understanding together.

2ninja logged 3 hours before me so he took Spot B with few losses.

Needless to say, no messages arrived.

I started some building as placeholders just because i was the first to log in this turn.

We must decide what to do with our not-so-impressive stack.

BTW, while logging, i've set Artemis in a city. I think it's worth for only 6 turns build.
 
Actually I think Husch is saying let Amazon fend for itself and keep our troops away. Frankly I don't know if we have enough forces to take the rest of the spoke.

It's basically what i'm saying: there're no roads where we are, so moving in the city and then retreat is the same, but we gain 1 turn, so somne day to decide.

I was also thinking to send a reply to Ama, telling them that their answer arrived 1 day too late to be considered a true reply.

It's a point that needs to be made, but try and make it diplomatically. Something like "Thanks for the reply and the information. However it would have been much more helpful to have known this sooner. For military matters such as these, we need to organise between us a better system so as to communicate faster."

Actually even that's not all that diplomatic, but you get the point.
 
Sometimes you need to be candid with people to get the point across so long as your not insulting about it.
 
I agree, but the way BLubmuz was suggesting phrasing it sounded just rude rather than candid. In his defense he was just posting his frank opinion to us so that's fine. You saying that though makes me now think what I wrote was possibly too diplomatic rather than not enough. It's probably not worth worry about as much as we do either, just so long as we don't end up fighting with them about it it's fine.

Where do you want to buid Artemis? In Sirius would be best, perhaps in Rigel also but Rigel needs too long for it.

I've just seen a city where you need 6 turns to complete. I think it's worh and 6 turns are not much. That city is already set to build it, unless you disagree.
 
Why do we want ToA? For the priest? For the 100% trade in one city? That's like +4 commerce?
