Turn limit question

Once you reach the turn limit can you continue to play (like when you win in SMAC) or does the game just stop? I haven't made it that far yet but would like to know. Also, is there a way to turn off the turn limit?

Yes, after you reach your turn limit that game takes you through all the end-game stats and then gives you an option to keep playing. I don't know if you can turn the turn limit off though.

The turn limit can be turned off in the scenario editor. Look in the scenario menu / scenario properties.
