Though our lighthouse keepers report much fewer near-collisions in the North Sea, Piffle formally rebukes Epsilon! for the methods they employed to effect that end. The ends most certainly do not justify the means in this circumstance, Gentlemen

On the plus side, the piers and quays of our northern harbors will not need as frequent rebuilding, owing to the reduced wave-action.

Epsilon is less than 1% away from beign able to vote for ourselves

Sounds like we will continue as planned.

Still.. given the current pace of the game, it seems profoundly unlikely we'll get it done before Peter takes off for a month.

@Pete - any chance Twistlok can take over? He seems to be good in this situation
EDIT: Just remembered that Twistlok is on Epsilon! oops! No offense Twist! Still... we could send him over in your wake. He hasn't participated at Epsilon for a while anyway...

@robbo - sorry the attack upset you. I did post an announcement video in my EEN thread to warn you - but I'm aware that participation is so low that very few people check even the UN threads anymore. I probably should have posted something here in this thread. Sorry for the rude shock.
Believe it or not, the motivation was to ensure an unimpeded run to our UN victory, not spite.

I'll check with Twistlok - as far as I know, he hasn't checked in at Epsilon! in a year or so. And like you mentioned - he's really a good sport!

I will send the save on when I get back to work - about 12 hours from this post.

Nobody has yet agreed to take over as turnplayer, but I sincerely hope this is resolved before I go on vacation in three days

This is the last save I can play before leaving for vacation.

Twistlok and I have been working to get his patch situation resolved. We're not there yet, but hopefully we'll be successful in a few hours once he and his BtS disk are in the same location. I was hoping we could manage it without a clean install, but apparently not

Failing that, Brooklynprop (also a non-active member of Epsilon) has mentioned to me that he'd be willing, despite massive reluctance, to step in.

Failing that, I will be back at my work computer (where I play from) on July 14.

I'll still be around here, I just can't play the save on my laptop.
