I would like to know if its possible to switch off proposals for friendship from other civs. Sure it helps in a big game when other civs offer open borders, saves me from clicking them up and doing it myself since i like to have open borders with every civ until things get going. But friendship offers are different; i dont want any. Ok, occasionally i like to make a friendship with a close power, britain & france together or something for a nice buffer but usually making a friendship just annoys other civs and means more spamming messages about how upset they are about making friends (or conversely how happy they are). What im getting at is that by mid to late game its just non stop.. every turn takes a long wait and then i also have to click bugger off twice for each diplo message. i will even have the mouse pointer hovering over the No part in preparation.

sure someone might pop their head over the paraphet and say but diplomacy is part of civ, why rush it, take time to consider each offer and weigh it correctly but i just want to move some units around thanks!
