How many turns are there in a game of Civ1? (I know it goes till 2100 AD, -20 years/turns per difficulty level over Chieftain). I could not find this information by searching the forurms or in the version of the manual that I found here on Civfanatics. Thanks all..

On a side note, why are some old threads (like that one) not visible in the Civ1 forum? Just earlier today I found an "archive" page of threads that don't show up. Does having them be "invisible" save space, avoid thread necromancy, or what? Trada, if you see this and can explain, please do.. thanks!

Old threads are archived and put somewhere else to save space on this forum. They are still accessible here: http://forums.civfanatics.com/archive/index.php/f-16.html
