two questions, one still unanswered from a previous post:confused:
first - periodically the game screen changes resolution on me...from normal to tiny  it does it all by it's little self, and the only cure is to uninstall and re-install the game...which is to say the least inconvenient. anyone else experienced this? any clues to a cause, or a fix (other than re-install)??
second - diplomacy (ptooooey!!!):king: why does the AI constantly allow opponents the option of lolling and gagging whilst they sucker me into believing they will leave my territory? if i return the favor by entering theirs, my only options are war of auto-removal of my player. the only time i seem to get a choice, OR they get the message is when my "diplomat" threatens war...which is rare at best. i feel like the doormat. i thought it was good to be da king :king:

This is probably because you have inadvertently pussed the "Zoom" key ("Z" I think). Trying pushing it again.

You normally have to "automatically" remove your troops if they are within striking distance of a town / city. Pretty much ditto for the AI. However, if you keep telling it to remove them, after a turn or two, they generally will.

2)

The AI gets an unfair advantage here, if you move a unit next to an AI city for the first time, and that unit came from outside the AIs borders that very turn, the AI can still sometimes force you to withdraw right away.

On the other hand, I`ve found myself unable to force the AI out even if one of their military units touched a town of mine for 2 turns in a row.....

Also, units do not jump to squares to which an AI unit has a goto - command. The other way round it doesn`t work... :(

Conjecture:

Could it be that it is related to attitude? If so, it may also change with level, as it is harder to keep the AI happy on higher levels.
