1. How do you connect an electronic keyboard to a computer? I have a keyboard called Realistic Concertmate-670, but I have no idea how to hook it up

2. This might sound dumb....but is it possible to connect an acoustic guitar to the comp?

There is a standard, MIDI, for this. You need a sound card that supports it however.

Thank you!

I'll see what I can do.

Is this a purely acoustic guitar? I am not well versed on musical instruments but I remember seeing an infomercial on the Esteban Acoustic/Electric Guitar. It would let you play both ways I guess? Anyways, if you have a purely acoustic guitar I would after my quick search of the internet say "No, you cannot hook your acoustic guitar to your computer".

Now, if you do have a dual electric/acoustic guitar then check this out: GuitarPort

You can buy it here (US $100): Amazon

Let me know how this works out. I am interested in picking up playing guitar.

Mine is a pure acoustic. Thanks anyway.

The other night I thought of something I would do if I had another guitar, I'd wreck mine. Drill a little hole in the back, put the microphone (a small one) right INTO the guitar, and have the wire come out the back. I would do it, but I only have my one guitar.

If I ever upgrade though, It'll come in handy!
