Two strange question

iBook 12" G4 800MHz
Civ III Complete with latest patch.

1st: When playing civ iii my mac is about 80% of the time with the fan on! It's a bit annoying because of the constant sound the fan does, but I suppose it's because the game is very hardware demanding. Anyone experiencing this?

2nd: It is ok to put the computer to Sleep with the game running?

HI

1. Have you tried the "Use less CPU power if possible" option? Hold Command key down while launching if you haven't seen this checkbox, which accompanies the screen resolution and window/full screen selections.

2. I don't sleep my computer, but I can see no reason why not. I'd recommend saving the game before you sleep the computer, in case the battery depletes and you lose your current turn.

<alt><cmd><eject> works alos while Civ is running. Waking up is not problem either. At least on my machine.
