@TonyZ20 If you have the Enlightenment Era mod active, you need to apply the latest patch of that mod in order to resolve text issues.
I had the same issue with the previous iteration and this iteration of VP. The EE patch fixed those issues.
If you you don't have EE, then it is as Recursive says, it's one of your other mods that causing it. Hope that helps, and Merry Christmas :D

Mod conflict. You'd need to enable logging and check the database log to see which mod is causing the problem. Not a base VP issue.
How do I enable logging and check the database for detecting mod conflict?

I had EUI DLC folder install in C/Program files incorrectly recently on new computer for the first time.
its not an issue for me, i just move it to d/steam/steamapss... etc Im curious if that can be a reason for those bugs you experience?

I did have a useless folder in a SteamLibrary outdated folder, but there also always have been the right folder in my steamapps/ civ5 folder. Strange.
How do you know which was the right one? You can delete both, run VP install and see where it is placed. No idea if it will still not work. Some DLC missing? It looks a bit like some diff language version error. Civ 5 uses separate text infos for every lang for most assets.

One of the two was very outdated (as in, the last time the files had been modified) and I deleted it with no issue.
But eh, I guess I could try a clean reinstall on the next patch. I should have all DLCs, and my Civ+Steam are both set to English.
