The current game versions for PTW were release in v1.14 and could be played in PTW in either v1.14, v1.21, or v1.27.
Again I apologize on behalf of the entire Civ community for the decision that was made internally at Firaxis games to duplicate nad overlap version numbers when they started over for PTW. This decision was a shortsighted error in jug=dgement and has created much unnecessary and needless confucions for old and new players alike. If I had $1 for every time I had to help someone unravel this confusion by providing free customer support for the Firaxis product, I could buy a round for every player here.
The PTW software versions should have been labeled 2.xx and the Conquests software versions should be labels 3.xx to avoid this confusion. If conquests is released resetting the software versions back to zero again it will be just another level of confusion.
You can play Gotm23 by going to the game announcement page and dowloading the PTW readme file and it will give you the three choices of games at the three different difficulty levels. If you have followed instructions and installed the supporting agme packs, then any one of these three choices will easily play in you UK v1.21 version.
