Wow, talk about insult to injury... After several in game crashes, I decided to try to un-install and re-install the game. Apparently the Uninstall has either been corrupted by the crashes or has bugs just like the game.
Has anyone else hit this?
How is it that 2K games hasn't posted an admission that either their minimum requirements are not correct (I have an ATI Mobile 7800 w/ 64MB RAM) and they need to raise them, or at least state that they are working to solve the issue.
Like many of the other die hard CIV fans on this web site, I've tried to call 2K games only to be hung up on, I've sent several polite emails to customer support with DXdiags logs. ...and I've got zero response from 2K. It's ok to have bugs in your software and work with your customers to fix them, it is not ok to be silent about those bugs and ignore your customers.
