This mod changes the way the UN runs, in that it adds options to have any civic as a global civic.

This also means that if you vote two civics as global civics, they each become options.

You can have both state property and free market voted on, but no other options. And, if State property becomes annoying, you can revote and say no, and if it fails, state property is no longer an option.

Simply amazing. Thank you for putting so much time into this. I'm sure a lot of people will enjoy it.

Heh, I was doing the same thing to test it out.

Year: 1000 B.C.

Global Civic: Police State passes! 28-1

I added enough cities to give myself a bit more than majority control.

I could see Genghis Kahn want to adopt slavery, but Elizabeth? I'll never look at her the same again. :p

On a side note, I recreated the UN to be available at the start of the game as a World Wonder costing 100 hammers. That way it can be used through the entire game. It looks funny having the UN graphic among a bunch of huts and such but I just wanted to give it a try.

Place the folder "UN Modification" in Firaxis Games/Sid Meier's Civilization 4/_Civ4CustomMods

Once you get to the main menu of Civ 4 just load it like any other mod.

Does the AI use this to try and impose their own favored civics (as opposed to the free market kind of stuff)? Or does only the player do it?

This is the first thing Washington put up to vote when I gave him the majority of votes and leadership of the UN.

Weird thing is Bureaucracy hadn't been discovered yet but everyone converted to it when the resolution passed.

Hmm, interesting . . . are you going to test out each leader and civic combo? (Like give make all the religious civics available for vote and then test with each leader to see if the leaders pick different religious civic options)?

Very good mod, just something's wrong in the GameTextInfo file: you copied all languages but changed only the english. You better delete the other language tags, so it shows up the correct resolutions in other languages. (Instead just the same for every new resolution.)
I changes the file, and translated it also to german.

I'm not certain on how to add anything into it. I've tried religion conversion, but that hasn't worked.

Someone with more python knowledge could do more than I can.
