First time player here of Rise of Erubus. I'm playing the Grigori with Cassiel, on Erubus Continents, standard length.

I'm not getting any foreign trade in any of my cities. I have researched sailing and also Trade at this point. I'm running Aristocracy, Pacifism, Apprenticeship and Foreign Trade. Each of my cities has 5 trade routes with each other, but none with another Civ.

I've traced the sea route to at least 2 other Civs, and built a road to the Dural Capital. Have open borders with everyone.

Only thing is that I'm not really popular. My highest approval rating is +5 with the Dural. The rest are +2 to -12.

Could anyone suggest how I get foreign trade running?

Also one question regarding Adventurer Points - does building rate increasing buildings (Adventurer's Guild, Dagda's memorial, etc) in any city contribute towards a common pool and help raise the point counter?

Many Thanks..

Since you have Open Borders with everyone, the only thing I can think of is that your rivals are running Civics that prevent their having foreign trade routes. Several Civics in RifE are different from base FfH2: Agrarianism and Conquest, for example, block foreign trade routes.

You can check the Foreign Advisor screen to see what Civics your rivals are running and see if any of them block foreign trade routes.

Fairly sure it does.

Adventurer points are a common, empire wide pool (much easier to set up that way, less prone to gaminess), so constructing appropriate buildings (or improvements, for the Statesman specialist) will increase the rate at which you gain adventurer points, no matter the city they are built in.
