I can't find a way to end trading agreements for exported luxuries and strategic goods after the compulsory 20 turns.

Is there a special trick to it or can't it be done?

After the 20 turns, the exported luxury or strategic item doesn't repear in the right side panel of the Negiotation screen (ie, it still shows up as 0 available to trade)

Can someone duplicate this?

Resource/lux trade deals don't end unless someone ends it.

When you go to offer a deal, notice in the bottom:

"New Active"

click on active, and you've got a list of all your current deals, with the # of turns left, etc. Clicking on one allows you to renegotiate it if you wish or say "never mind" to cancel it.

:crazyeyes Doooooohhhhhhhh!! Thanks for pointing this out - I've been pulling what's left of my hair out over this - and naturally, it's sooooo simple to do. Unfortunately, I had a situation yesterday where I got the message that makes me cringe most, "This source of iron has been exhausted". Of course, I was in a trade agreement with the Egyptians wherein I was supplying them my other source of Iron. Not being able to read a trade screen properly to cancel my agreement, I naturally went to war with them to effectuate the cancellation - harsh, but effective. It was all good though as I trounced them into near oblivion with my artillery and cavalry against their pikemen and speardudes. I think the game should provide an option in this context: "your extra source of iron has been exhausted, do you want to terminate your trade agreement with X?"

Thanks again and happy hunting,

Dude
