True, one drop doesn't result in a blackout. But it's like anything else - you don't know if you'll be hooked on it until you try it for the first time. And it's a risk I don't particularly want to take.

Getting drunk doesn't mean you're an alcoholic.

1 drop doesn't result in being hooked for life either.

I dont think underage drinking is a bad thing at all - my parents are happy to let me have a beer in the weekends, sometimes some wine and maybe even cocktails. Learning to 'drink' is very important, especially learning to drink in moderation. Drinking while still quite young can help raise your alchohol tolerence when your older so its not neccessarily a bad thing. If you dont have either a religious reason or family problems with drinking i cannot understand why tou wouldnt.
