Since i'm up in the deity challengers game now as well i suggest you take this one Duckweed.
So I took a look at the 75AD autosave. Seeing that a worker is irrigating a tundra tile in Lyons -- Hmm, a creative idea! I'd probably let him do something common next, such as making a cottage on the nearby grassland.
Plan:
Will promote the Axe near Boston to Woodman II for better worker stolen, Also it's good to get a Woodman III units.
Tech: Currency->Med->Priest->CoL
3 turns to Currency if we build research in multi cities .There will be 9 extra commerce per turn + ~100 beaker save + better science slider by building wealth and the trade-off is that we might delay 1 or 2 turns to CoL, but the time to lightbulb of Phi is almost the same if considering the timing of GS. So we should go for Currency 1st.

Well you're probably right. Remarkable just the same that we agree on one plan bulbing Tao asap and ultimately embark on the alternative researching currency first. Of course if this is the case researching currency before all the turns spent on col would have been superior.I have doubts all the same if we followed the fastest route to Tao, if we'd lose Tao that'd be well deserved, but we'll probably strike lucky.

it's a slow map; definitely lotsa warmongers around - tao shouldn't be too early.

Yes but it's past AD, you can never be sure of these things. If one ai gets a gs he just may happen to bulb philo. Maybe settling the GS was the right thing to do but in that case we (including myself) should have looked more closely to the map just before getting the GS and said "hey we're going to settle the first GS lets go currency first after all". What we have done now seems a bit aimless.
Played a short set.
As planned, adjusted the city build to make currency ready in 3 turns.
Economy after currency, it's way better.
Do we need it? I'd be happy to do this vs aggressive AIs, but not for peaceful leader as Lincoln.
I don't delay even 1 turn for Phi bulb, pretty satisfied with this result.

a question I have--do we want to be in OR and spam buildings (which is what I usually do) or pacifism? I would think the variant would make OR stronger.
Seems pretty straightforward--steal IW, whack Lincoln, bureau (mono?)-paper (Uof S).

I think we're allowed to have OB--just not to get $ directly from trade (either by selling tech or resources or extortion).
However, I'm OK if we decide to do without OB as well.

I don't think there's enough land/resources here to win space with the restriction.

Looked at the save. Not too much to say really. We need CS and chain farming. Then go lib i think, capital can run a decent amount of specs.We need to run specs but slavery is a good civic to be in right now so i suggest building markets, maybe also temples. I think we may go aw too, we have stone and 2H priests isn't bad at all, it's admittedly not tremendous either. As we don't need military we can and should concentrate on infra, maybe building wealth in cities that really don't profit from markets etc...I'd stay in OR for all these reasons.Is Lincoln of any use after we steal iron?
