Ski Infantry is too much of a niche unit for me to find useful.
Siege Tower, best unit for early conquest.
 
African Forest Elephant 12 One of many elephant units. Too expensive to build, especially since when you're Carthage, you should play on maps with lots of water, and concentrate on naval units, not land units. But I suppose they had to make this their UU since Carthaginian elephants hold a special role in history.

Longbowman 35-With logistics this is actually better than a CKN can ever hope to be until they're both upgraded to gats since the longbowman doesn't have decreased str. Getting logistics isn't very hard as long as you've built an armory and Longbows are rarely exposed to much danger meaning they hardly ever have to take time out to heal.

Pictish Warrior 16-Only good for barb hunting. Not many tiles to pillage this early in the game, the FFK ability gives a negligible amount of faith since most of the damage in early wars (or any for that matter) is done with ranged units. The foreign lands bonus only makes it as strong as a Hoplite which was eliminated a long time ago. On defense it's actually worse than a plain spearman since it lacks the vs mounted bonus that spears get. Upgrades to some decent pikemen but then it's stuck as a lancer for a long time.

Keshik 35 Insanely fast, levels at lightning speeds (for quick logistics) and has unparalleled synergy with the other unique features of the Civ. If the real world Keshiks were even half this good it's no wonder the Mongols carved out such a large empire in their time. Golden Horde indeed.

Turtle Ship 2-3=0 Looks like the turtle ship has turned...well, turtle. This isn't a bad unit with the idea, but sacrificing the ability to enter deep ocean tiles is its undoing. I understand that Korea's UU's are defense based, but Korea doesn't have an ocean start bias making it unlikely you'll be attacked by sea. Alos, carvels are mainly used for exploring, not combat, so this kinda removes the main focus of this unit :/

Nah, it's not really that big change. I don't think patch should affect this thread. UB thread on the other hand should add Hanse.

Nau 6 Save the Nau! There are probably 17 units still left I would rate below this ship. A lot of UUs don't have a ton of synnergy with the civ you're playing as, and you'll find yourself not needing to use them in a lot of games. The Nau is useful on every continents/island game as Portugal, because it can just scout the world faster than any other civ other than Polynesia. The gold trading is ok, but by scouting out the world faster, you can start transferring your naval trade routes on to civs across the ocean that have resource diversity (and produce lots of gold anyway), scout out city states across the ocean to send your workers to, and then use the money that you gain to do whatever you want. These things are a really good part of a really good civ!

Honestly guys, Berzerkers aren't bad. Probably the highlight of playing Denmark. IDK I guess we're just running low on the truly awful ones.
