I used to play a TBS/RPG hybrid called Starknights. I was looking through the game files and found that the ship files are all in .pcx format, and wondered if they could be converted to units in Civ3. I've included a few here, let me know if you are interested and I will put up more.

There are also a lot of building and resource files that could be converted.

The following is one of my favorite ships. It is called the Archdeacon. It is a capital ship, has a lot of room for components, so I usually packed it with missiles and a lot of energy generators.

EDIT: I should add that all these images are copyrighted by Knightsoft, and are from the game Starknights. You can find the game at http://www.starknights.com The game developer, Skyven, did not give permission for me to post these images.

The order of these ships, from smallest to largest, is as follows:

Probe -tiny non-combat scout, has a built-in warp drive.
Freighter -non-vombat cargo vessel
Mosquito -small fighter
Stinger -medium fighter
StingerB -slightly larger than the Stinger
Riftjack -fighter with ramming crash head (looks like an X-wing)
Wasp -fighter with cloaking device
Skid -small salvage craft
Shuttle -basic shuttle craft
Maraurder -small, has built-in cargo bay, good for smuggling missions.
Valkorh -small defensive ship, has a shield-doubler
Dekko -smallest capital ship
StarRover -small capital ship with a built-in fighter bay
Corvette -very versatile, with a high weight capacity for its size
Destroyer -limited space, but its weapons doubler makes it highly useful
Blitzkreig -large ship with a lot of room for add-ons
Nightjar -first of the super-capital ships, with an anti-missile system built-in
Shamrock -good weight capacity, but the Archdeacon is a better buy
Archdeacon -very big ship
Tervuren -very big ship
Battlecruiser -very very big ship
Juggernaut -huge, and its shield doubler makes it a favorite
Dark Moon -has a planet cannon slot and weapons and shield doubler. Rip-off of the Death Star.

Maraurder -small, has built-in cargo bay, good for smuggling missions. Costs as little as the Shuttle, but has significantly more space.

Valkorh -small defensive ship, has a shield-doubler. I think of it as a fighter, since it doesn't really have enough room for a Warp Drive.

Attachments

Dekko -smallest capital ship. Has as few slots as the Shuttle, but a much higher weight capacity. Still a good workhorse unit at later stages in the game.

StarRover -small support vessel with a built-in fighter bay. Fragile when matched against other capital ships, but the fighter squadron of 5 ships evens the odds.

Attachments

Corvette -very versatile, with a high weight capacity for its size. The overwhelming favorite for rush strategies, with its low cost compared to ships of equal utility.

Destroyer -limited space, but its weapons doubler makes it highly useful. Given its low weight capacity and limited slots, this ship usually has a pretty low defensive rating and does best with a well-shielded escort.

Attachments

Blitzkreig -large ship with a lot of room for add-ons and high weight capacity. Usually used as a highly shielded flagship to protect weaker vessels.

Shamrock -good weight capacity, but the Archdeacon is a better buy if you can afford it.

I'm going to skip the Archdeacon (see post #1 for its files).
