Unit Editing Help

[Civ2Addict]

Everytime I get done editing my units.gif file, I go to load the game and it comes up with an error message like:

Civ2 has caused and error in CIV2.EXE.
Civ2 will now close.

If you continue to experience problems,
try restarting your computer.

Can someone please tell me the right way to edit units?

I think you might be more likely to get the information you need in the Scenario Creation forum. The people in there are used to updating those files, so someone in there has probably seen what you're experiencing
