unit movment

first let me start by saying civ 5 is one of the best civs IMO but the thing that kills me is that in multiplayer you cant see your units move or attack why is this? are there going to fix this in a patch or expantion or is there a way to turn that off?

Last I heard 2KGreg said it would be out in a couple months from February, so maybe April at the earliest. At the latest it will come out with the Gods & Kings expansion in May.
