I am convinced you can and will win. You're very skilled. Your units get alot of downloads (and so are popular enough). And, given the quality of the units in this month's competition I just lucked in to the trophy. Consider that you got nearly twice the % vote in the PCX as I did in the unit competion.
I feel like everyone blinked and the troll walked in and snitched their shiney and ran off with it.

Yeah, trolls tend to that if you don't keep an eye on them.

Don't mind my pessimism... I had a bad day, what with the election results (although I've just learned from several sources that most of the new Dems are moderates and pro-gun, so I'm not near as depressed as I was last night), among other things.

Wow, I hadn't suspected you're a Republican until recently, with the misunderstanding with Partizanac. It's not that important who won anyway, you know better than me that the senators and representatives are influenced more by regional pressures, than from their parties. Party discipline, as known in Europe, doesn't exist in the US (remember the Monica Lewinsky scandal, for example).

And I'm also confident you'll eventually manage to win with your units.

I try to keep out of politics on the forums, as much as possible, which is why I don't put any political stuff in my sig or avatar. Besides, I could be considered politically moderate, seeing as my Conservative views on social and moral issues are countered by my Liberal economic and environmental viewpoints....

I have similar views. I know of at least one other significant unit creator who is also right of center.

I fall into the latter half. I see Democrats as only slightly less evil than Republicans.... but this probably best saved for the OT forum...
