As far as I know, a mounted Jaguar Warrior, even as a Civ 3 unit, is not existing. The mesoamerican civs, when meeting the European civs, had no horses, so mounted mesoamerican units are fantasy units, based at a situation after the mesoamerican civs met the European civs and therefore gained horses.

ShiroKobbure made wonderful mesoamerican unit packs, among them unit packs that hold some mesoamerican mounted units:

yes I know it's a fantasy unit, I think I remember a mounted jaguar unit that was very similar to utahjazz7 aztec knight unit, I need a fantasy knight unit for the 2 mesoamerican civs (aztec and maya).

Thanks, I've already checked and used plenty of ShiroKobbure's Meso American units. Anyways if anyone remembers a Mounted Jaguar Warrior unit, lmk.

Don't know how I missed this but you said a lot of things that really tugged at my heart. I'm also a wargamer since the late '70s with stuff like Panzer Blitz and Panzer Leader. I love both the east front and the west front and go absolutely giddy when a wargame mixes the two together.

I've not tried Cataclysm from GMT. I kind of ignored it based off of some screen shots of the board. It seems that you really like it. Gonna have to check it out now.

I found this Aztec Horseman by ShiroKobbure. The rider is dressed like a jaguar warrior - I think. Was it something like that you were looking for?

Turned out, I downloaded this unit in 2011 - and it was still present in my "Civ3 library" (despite various PC-replacements and HD-failures). Having the file name made it much easier to locate the unit in the "vast jungle" of CFC-files and -threads.:scan:

Imperator made an early modern war wagon with janissaries. It'd be nice to have an eastern european gulyay gorod and maybe a ming one as well as these factions still preferred wagon forts to dense pike and shot formations when facing nomadic horse archers.

I don't recall a janissary war wagon. I did first post a request for the Hussite War Wagon in 2006 or so. Without my asking, imperator1961 exclaimed his surprised that I had been waiting so long for this, that he just went ahead and made it. He was quite generous: he also made, "Special Pack for The Guardian's Mod," containing: "Persian Rifleman, Bedouin Rifleman, Bedouin Azzar, Rocket Crew, and Mortar Crew. " (just in case anyone is curious ;) )

There are a few major problems that I have come across. When the mod finishes downloading, I start the game, go to the Scenario screen select the file and when it comes up, the text files are all screwed up. Not the ones that give info about the units/buildings but the menus display the wrong...

There is a lack of WW2 era african airborne units to go with the cold war and modern versions. Did someone do a CnP job of the stock game ww2 paratrooper?

I am looking for an M-47 Patton tank unit. Plenty of M48's and M60's on here but I was hoping to find an M-47. Please let me know if there is one out there. Thanks!

With the new CFC site it seems there are sometimes problems with drawing links to existing posts. Sometimes it works - and sometimes not. Even a reply from me to one of your questions was hampered by this. I reported this to the CFC moderators here.
