Alright, I got my unit list finalized, which means I now know exactly which units I have graphics for... and which I don't. I've got a list here of what I need, and will do my best to provide detailed text guidelines, since it's hard to get pictures of made-up units. The guidelines are just that - they're really intended to spark the imagination, rather than restrict it. If anyone takes up any of these units, feel free to elaborate on anything in the descriptions.

Also, if anyone knows of any units that would fit these descriptions (especially if they're from another site, since I've plundered CFC pretty extensively and probably have all the fantasy art that applies), *please* tell me.

Noncombat units:
Sapper: These guys are basically siege engineers and combat-capable (though not exactly powerful) workers. I envision them with fairly drab civilian clothing, a short sword on a belt, and a pack slung over one shoulder with some tools in it. I'm currently using the worker animations for these, and that really is probably good enough. Needs attack animations

Forerunner: This is a civ-specific worker for the Sky People (native american type civ). Think Native American Worker and you've pretty much got the picture. Does not need attack animations.

Tribe: Another Sky People unit, this time a settler. Again, it's pretty much just a Native American Settler unit, nothing fancy. Needs attack animations.

Seer: A high level mage this time, but one that never gets involved in combat. I'm thinking a white-robed woman with a crystal ball. Her fidget could be her raising the crystal ball and looking deeply into it. Does not need attack animations.

Stakkatan Infantry Army: This is an army unit that's only useable by the Stakkatans (A blend of Middle Eastern and European cultures - they focus on very heavy armor). I envision a man in very heavy, very ornate armor with a branched pole, sort of like a very square Y, each branch having a narrow strip of cloth for the army standard.

Blood Slave: This is a unit whose only purpose is to be sacrificed. Male or female, naked or very nearly naked, doesn't much matter, but it should be escorted by a warrior or priest looking person. The only animations really needed are move and death. If I had my druthers, the death animation would be of the Blood Slave being sacrificed, but that's probably a bit gory to ask anyone to make :p

Infantry units:
Dwarven Shooter: This is a dwarven crossbowman, unarmored or very lightly armored. If possible, the crossbow should be a bit larger than normal - smaller person, larger and more deadly weapon.

Storm Giant: Very large humanoid in Roman/Greek clothing, crowned with a coronet that looks like lightning bolts. I envision attacks as first throwing a lightning bolt then using a giant two handed sword. If you wanted to get really fancy, you could have him (or her) hold up a hand, have a storm cloud form around that hand, then slice the hand forward and have lightning arch from the cloud onto the unit being attacked.

Orcish Deadeye: This is an Orc crossbowman. Again, doesn't need much in the way of armor, but should have a very nasty-looking weapon and perhaps should have a sword or axe as a sidearm.

Salamander: This is a summoned magic unit, essentially a fire elemental trapped in the form of a large (horse sized or so) lizard. It should be pretty wild, a lot of movement, and its attack would be breathing out great gouts of flame (it's a bombard unit as well as combat). A fancy fidget might be having the lizard form fade out and having a large humanoid fire elemental briefly superimpose itself over the partially phased out lizard form, then disappear (the elemental trying to break free of its enchantment).

Holy Stone Knight: This is a foot knight from an Order that worships the elder Earth elementals. His armor would look rocklike and he'd probably use a blunt weapon like a large hammer, perhaps even a two handed hammer. Should be slow and methodical, but appear as unstoppable as an avalanche.

Temple Knight: These are the guys that accompany Confessors (a priest unit). They should have utilitarian black/dark grey armor and a polearm of some sort. They're a foot knight unit, so no mount needed.

Avatar: This is the highest Temple unit, summoned by High Confessors. They're kind of like angels, but they're larger and have no wings. I envision them with flaming hair and weapons, although I realize that's difficult to make.

Wraith: An undead unit, very ghostlike although it doesn't neccearily need to be humanoid. I envision a misty cloud with two spindly arms, which it rakes through its enemy, trying to steal its soul.

Vampiric Thrall: This is a humanoid that's been killed by a master vampire and returned from the grave. They aren't mindless, but aren't terribly intelligent either. I envision a humanoid with pale skin, tattered clothes, and very long claws/fingernails. Its attack would be basically throwing itself at the enemy with its hands outstretched, slashing with the claws.

Dispossessed Soul: These are the victims of the Wraiths, basically just a very vague outline of a humanoid-ish form. I think it would probably attack in a manner similar to the Wraith.

Imp: Classic Imp, basically just a small winged humanoid with a barbed tail and reddish/brownish skin. Its tail barb has paralytic poison, but that shouldn't really matter much in the animations.

Clockwork Soldier: A human-sized mechanical/clockwork golem, essentially. Its hands would be weapons. A possible attack would be to just have the arms windmill as it advances forward.

Blackfire Creature: A creature made of dark, shadowy flames. I havn't really decided whether it should be humanoid or not, so call it artistic license and have at it :D It should look very menacing - it's a product of forbidden magic and very, very dangerous.

Cavalry Units:
Orcish Savage: Orc heavy cavalry. The mount is up to the artist, but it should be armored (if armor wouldn't be redundant, of course) as should the rider. Rider would use a long-handled axe or spiked mace and a shield.

Centaur Knight: Armored centaur with a spear and shield. I envision the armor being bronze, not steel. If you wanted to get fancy, the attack would have the centaur rearing up then thrusting hard downward with the spear as he fell.

Vulture Hybrid: This is essentially a harpy - a human that has been combined with a vulture through magic. Head and upper torso at least should be humanoid, and it should have the wings of a great black vulture, and preferably sharp eagle-like talons which it attacks with.

Lion Hybrid: A wemic, which is a creature designed like a centaur with a lion instead of a horse. I envision the upper body being male, with long, disheveled blonde/light brown hair and a beard. Light or no armor, with a big hide shield and a short thrusting spear or a two handed sword. He could use his front paws to attack as well as his weapons.

Scorpion Hybrid: Again, a centauroid, except scorption instead of horse or lion. Should definately have the segmented tail and barbed tip, but no claws. I envision the upper body with dark bronze or brown skin, and a metal sword and shield, possibly with a javelin. If possible one of the attacks should include the stinger.

Sylph: A wind elemental trapped into a mortal form. The form should either be a large avian (bird) or a humanoid female. Either should be pale blue and possibly translucent/slightly transparent. Attacks are entirely up to the artist.

Sacred Flame Knight: Knight mounted on a horse with hooves and mane/tail of flame. Should be lightly armored and use a sabre and shield or even two sabres.

Divine Wind Knight: Knight mounted on some sort of flying creature (not Kinboat's eagle rider, I'm already using that), possibly a sylph if the same artist takes both units and wants to reuse art :) Would use either throwing spears or a bow (not crossbow, too difficult to cock while mounted and flying).

Black Web Knight: Knight mounted on a very large large, black, tarantula-looking spider. Heavily armored, with long spear and shield. Spider should definately participate in combat somehow.

Mage/Priest units:
Amazon Enchantress: Female mage. I envision her with colorful, very fancy robes and a crown or tiara. She doesn't really need a weapon. Should attack with magic, but nothing flashy like a fireball - I'm not really sure what she should use though, so up to the artist.

Elven Sage:Old elf (this is a fourth age unit, so there are very few elves left at this point and they're all older) with a staff he uses to help him walk. Attack wouldn't have much animation on the part of the elf - I envision him just leaning on the staff slightly and the staff flashes then the magic goes off.

Orcish Shaman: Orc wearing rags covered in skulls/shrunken heads and carrying a short staff topped with a large animal skull. Would attack with more "natural" magic like a lightning bolt or something similar.

High Confessor: Man (not female - only males can be Confessors) wearing dark brown, grey, or black robes, with a surcoat carrying a stylized ankh insignia. Carries a wooden/iron scepter. Attacks with fire magic.

Prelate: Man or woman in white/light grey robes, wearing a miter and carrying one of those incense-swinger things they use in the Catholic church (sorry, name escapes me at the moment). Attacks with light or lightning.

Reverend of the Requiem: Lich or something similar - an undead humanoid priest/mage. Should attack with some sort of magic that would tend to leave whole corpses to resurrect.

Black Vicar: Evil humanoid who summons demons to do his bidding. Wears very fancy black robes with golden or red embroidery/trimming. A fancy attack might be him raising his arms and opening a portal through which a giant demonic arm attacks.

Invoker: A traditional fireball-tosser. Appearance doesn't much matter, but his attacks should be as flashy and devastating as possible.

Illusionist: Mage who specializes in illusions of all sorts. In game he's an invisible unit, though he needn't look that way in the art. Any attacks should be slightly transparent do to their illusory nature.

Hedgewizard: A very basic, untaught mage of no great power. Wouldn't wear anything fancy, and his attacks would be adequate but not impressive. Might very well use an actual weapon to attack sometimes, to conserve magical strength.

Wizard: A much better trained wizard, but still pretty generic. Would wear robes/fancy clothes, but not too fancy, and his or her attacks would rely more on variety than power.

Misc Units:
Warwing: A military airship that attacks with flaming arrows and either a catapult or some sort of combat magic. If possible, should look similar to Embryodead's Airship unit (but not the same - that's a noncombat/transport airship). Traditional style air unit.

Goblin Big Bomb: Goblin suicide bomber, essentially. If you've ever played Age of Wonders, I stole this shamefully from them - essentially it's a little goblin toting around a classic cartoon style bomb a couple times his size. Attacks by running up to the enemy and blowing up the bomb (cruise missile).

Orcish Fardeath: Orcish catapult, made of dark wood and blackened steel. Should be very savage-looking, with spikes (possibly decorated with skulls) on the wheels and carriage.

Undine: Water elemental trapped into a mortal form, probably a giant shark or something similar. Alternately, a spirit trapped into a waterspout (tornado over water). Naval unit.

Blessed Wave Knight: Knight riding a shark or giant seahorse, with brightly colored coral armor, carrying a shield and seaweed-draped trident. Naval unit.

There's two more units that I need done but will most likely do myself: the Fire Drake and Storm Drake from Kohan: Immortal Sovereigns. I'll likely just copy-and-paste them together, but if someone wants to extract them and do the work for me, I'd be extremely grateful. Don't ask me how, cause I have no clue - I intend to use a video capture program to capture the animations straight from the game.
