Goodjob, gwendoline~ But this coat is a little out of line with the cap, especially the collar badges are the style of nationalist China(ROC, Kuomintang). Chinese communists had no collar badge from 1937 to 1949, and entire red collar badges without rank before 1937 and after 1949. Like this:
