Hi everyone. Sorry for that long delay. I am just getting over the worst flu of my life. In bed for about 3 days and out of work for over a week. Yikes. So yeah, wasn't using the computer at all. @_@. Anyways I am here, sorry for making you guys think I left you all at the alter ^_^.

Hi guys. So um, my Steam Client broke my entire computer this week. So lame. I don't know whether it was Steam, my antivirus, or the latest windows update. But yeah everythings broken. Had to uninstall steam ... gonna try to find time to troubleshoot this bullpoop tonight, hope I can fix everything easily, if not gonna have to reinstall windows.

Anyways, gonna get the save out ASAP, and gonna keep you guys updated. ^.^;;

Update. I tried uninstalling Steam Client and reinstalling. Didn't work. Tried uninstalling Steam and Avast antivirus. Didn't work. Tried reinstalling windows, Steam and Avast. Worked for a day, then broke again. Sigh. Tried reinstalling windows again, installing steam, then installing avast and imediately making Steam and exception in Avast. Worked. Yay.

Tried installing Civ 4 from Steam. Didn't work. No! Tried uninstalling Civ 4 and reinstalling. Uh oh. Couldn't reinstall. Tried uninstalling Steam. Reinstalling Steam. Reinstalling Civ 4. Worked. Finally.

What a hell.

Didn't have time to take my turn though. Taking it tonight. If everything still works. Cross your fingers everyone.

Okay and ... it was working UNTIL I loaded a save file, crashes with an "init graphics" error. Um, I guess I'm going to try uninstalling again. My vid card drivers are all up to date so I don't think that could be the problem, I could try an older diver? I tried running Civ 4 and/or Steam in compatability mode. No good. Anyone have any ideas?

Gonna have to troubleshoot it tomorrow after work though. This sucks sorry guys. Worst case this weekend I can probably use a friends PC to send my turns out. But that's clearly not a solution.

Game sent. Fortunately a friend of mine who used to play Civ 4 let me come over and send my turns out. Still working on getting Steam running.
