v1.52: Can't rename units

I can't get the unit renaming to work?!

I'm clicking on the unit title, e.g. "Archer" in the bottom left window and nothing happens.
I've tried left clicking, right clicking, middle clicking, both btn clicking - even turning the mouse upside down and clicking like that but I can't get any response from the game!!

Anyone know if this is a known bug with 1.52, or if I'm doing something wrong? Is there a config setting to allow unit renaming or something?

Could anyone post here if they CAN rename units please?

Just wondering if its a problem thats limited to a few people, or if everyone on 1.52 can't rename units?

It is possible to rename units in 1.52.
You have to click not only at the bar, but you should click near or best on the name of the unit to make it work, though.
Sometimes you won't be able to enter a new name, then you should enter the next city, remove a worker and place him back again. If the mouse-over tips reappear, the renaming of the unit should work as well.

Thanks for the tip Bello, but still nothings happening for me!

I've seen the problem when mouseovers stop working mentioned in other parts of the forum, but thats never affected me.

I checked again in my latest game today (gonna make that Monarch win one day soon ) and stuff like city renaming is fine - click, type, bob's your uncle. But absolutely nothing happens when I click on a unit name - no highlight or nuffink

oh well.... guess I'll just have to make a map of the gameworld & use pins with little flags with the names on!
