In the religion screen you can mouseover religions to see what their effect would be on all your cities. If you have a state religion and mouseover 'no religion' these cities do not update. I know it's fairly obvious what will happen, but with a big civ, it would be nice to see the screen change properly. Not until you actually adopt 'no religion' does it change.
