V112 Leader/Civ Selection Bugged

Just got stomped by Hiawatha in a v111 game, so tried using v112 this morning to try a new game. However, although others appear to be using it okay, v112 seems to be bugged on my machine.

The problem is whenever I go to the screen that allows me to choose which leader/civ I want to play, the slider bar on the right-hand side is missing. That limits me to choosinig among only about five civs, as the other are not visible.

Have tried all the usual things, including validating & defragging my steam files. Removing VEM v112 solved the problem, but that wasn't what I wanted.

The closest I got v112 to working was one time when I went into the mods screen, unchecked and then rechecked the VEM selection. That did allow the right-hand slider bar to work, but only revealed about four more civ choices, with the rest of the screen below showing all blank.

Will now go back to using V111 again for now. Any suggestions on what else I could try would be appreciated. Thanks.

Well, I thought v111 was what I just finished playing, but that version now appears to have the same problem as v112. I even tried disabling all other mods, but no luck.

I have succesfully been able to go back to v109 this morning, so perhaps that was the version I just finished playing. At least now I will be able to choose which civ to play as (and likely get beaten as )

Did you have the same problem when selecting civs from the advanced menu?

My girlfriend had the same problem... and chose from the advanced menu.

I see the problem. I made a mistake when editing values for Denmark, and didn't notice it until now because I was working on the GotM (which excludes Denmark). I've fixed this for the next version. Until then, as pointed out above you can choose from the advanced game screen.
