Version 0.45 Discussion Thread

I witnessed a successful ancient age naval invasion in my current game - the Incas captured 4 Greek cities, all of which are on a separate landmass (The Greeks still have 2 cities). How does the AI handle a war when half of it is a land war and half is a sea war?

Also, in my game I witnessed a weird phenomena. I'm using WolfRevolution but it has better AI .45 at its core. A German civilization had just been organized to the north, and a massive amount of units were created. They marched a stack down near my capital, but they just stayed 2 tiles from my capital but never attacked. My capital only had a few archers in it at the time, so they could have easily taken it, but they refused to move. I sent a single spearman in the tile next to them, and they attacked it, but it didn't provoke them to attack my capital. Eventually they broke some units off to deal with another invasion and I was finally able to destroy their stack probably 50 turns after it arrived. I would have posted a save but you would have had to download and install WolfRevolution which is quite a large file. I don't have a screenshot either, but I can post a picture of my area and where the stack was stuck if it's any help.

I've seen similar things occur with Revolutions. Sometimes, not often, but sometimes, the spawned revolutionary units will just cluster on forest or hills tiles and not move, even when they have overwhelming force.
