Very Close start

I started a game as Washington the other day. My warrior started on a square next to a scout. I could not believe it, within 2 turns I had defeated a nation. Has anyone else had this happen?

Well, I've had a game where my settler started within 2 squares from another settler with a warrior. Building my city closed them in on 2 squares, and I believe they could'nt even build a city. So they just stood there untill I killed them.

Once played with Inca and got a start with Nappy's capital four squares to my west and another capital (Hannibal?) five squares to my east; a very worthwhile and profitable Quecha Rush.
