Veterans' Memorial isn't showing splash screen

Even though I've installed WHoward69's mod to allow splash screens for national wonders, my Veteran's Memorial wonder showed an "unable to load" error message instead of the DDS file that I'd associated with the splash. I'm pretty sure the dimensions (972x568) follow normal rules; could someone please take a look and find out what else is keeping the picture from loading? Thank you all!

I thought I included it in the Art folder...what other kind of compression would you mean, besides putting it in the .civ5mod archive?

When you save the splash as a .dds, there should be an option to compress it, with stuff like DXT1, DXT3 and so on. I usually use DXT3 for splashes. Try that, see if it works

In your XML, wrong file name
<WonderSplashImage>vets_memorial_splash.dds</WonderSplashImage>
