A word of warning!

If you are thinking of getting Vic2:gold (includes AHD) then I suggest you don't. It is not released by Paradox and doesn't contain the AHD expansion only the vanilla game.

Paradox, the retailers (at least Amazon and their partners) and I guess the 3rd party maker of this bundle know about tis problem and have done for over a week at least but no solution is forth coming.

Sadly I only found this out then I googled why I couldn't get AHD to work. It turns out the activation codes on the box aren't to activate the game or a download but are for registering on the Paradox forums.

DO NOT BUY THIS GAME UNTIL A SOLUTION HAS BEEN SORTED OUT!

Problem solved but I'm still angry. First the solution.

Now.

I'm angry as I brought the disk thinking it would have all the content on it but it turns out that you need to get AHD as a DLC. There was no mention of this in the product description or in the box itself. I had to register with gamersgate which I didn't want to do. I already have a Steam account and I wish I'd just used that now.

With that said I'm off to enoy my game!

Welcome to the forums Kaspa. I have no idea if they sorted the problem yet or not. It would be great if when you get your copy you could let us know.
