Is there any way to see or determine the victory condition settings in Play the World? I can see and change the victory conditionx in Conquests with no problem.

Not in-game, but CivAssist II can assist with this. It lists the enabled conditions on the "General" tab, the "Culture" tab shows progress towards the cultural win, and the "Territory" tab shows progress towards a domination win.

Thank you for the quick response Quintillus. I will check it.

I just achieved a Domination Victory in my modified version of Test of Time. I have won on victory points before, but never Domination. Does any know what the conditions are for a Domination Win? I had explored part of Europe, some of Asia and Africa, and reached Australia. I had not reached the New World at all, so I am somewhat puzzled by what happened.

By carefully checking the Histograph for the game, it looks like one Victory Condition is reaching 10,000 Victory Points. I had reached that, but by checking CivAssist, it also looks like I had an enormous advantage in territory controlled by me compared to the remaining civilizations in the game. I had already knocked off India, and the Zulus are sitting ducks as well. I only set it for 7 opponents. I had the AI set for Deity, but the strategy was pretty poor. Basically, I kept checking on the known civilizations through the espionage tab, and all the AI was doing was cranking out settlers, with no escorts. I have a LOT of dinosaurs in the game, and they were feasting or at least killing the settlers. (The plant-eating Plateosaurs were as aggressive as the carnivores.) The game ended when it usually does, when I am in the middle of the Industrial Era, so I suspect that it may have been both a Victory Point Win and a Domination Win. The other opponents in the game besides India and the Zulus were the Mongols, Korea, the Iroquois, the Aztecs, and the Inca. As I did not make it to the New World, I have no idea a to how the American civilizations were faring. I am still playing the game, and will post about the New World when I reach it. I am not sure right now whether that will be via the Pacific or the Atlantic.

I have modified my normal playing style, and for the first time, I have a settlement on Australia. I also have settled what I mentally call Casablanca on the Atlantic coast of Africa. I have also killed an awful lot of dinosaurs, and watched one Army of Ansar Warriors get wiped out by them, with the finishing touches being applied by a Stegosaurus. Ouch!!!!!

In Vanilla, PtW, and Conquests/Complete under default settings, Domination is reached when both 66% of the world's total population, and 66% of the valid tiles (all land tiles, plus Coast tiles, IIRC -- can't remember if Sea tiles also count towards the Domination-limit) are under the control/ within the borders of a single Civ.

That pretty much matches up with what I saw on CivAssist. Thanks for the feedback. I may need to make some adjustments in my mod, so that it is not so lethal for the AI.
