Video Card Upgrade

I am upgrading my video card so i can play this game. i meet and pass all other game requirement by quite a bit so i am not scared by them.

on the other hand my video card sucks
intel 8xx

it will not run the game.

i am looking at some new ones at best buy where i can get a $100 rebate but how will i know if they will be compatitble with my computer or if i have the slot for them to go in?

dimension desktop 2400 series
510 ram
intel pentium 4 processesor cpu 2.66 ghz
run a windows xp

Open your box and look at the motherboard. for instructions go to dell website enter your service tag and look for documentation.

Three types of slots these days:
PCI: White colored, single notch in the card's connector area, Dont spend money on these slot video cards
AGP: Generally Brown colored slot, dell generally has a green colored locking plastic around it. (Card has at least one notch)
PCI-X: White colored longer than PCI, two notches in the card)
