Yay! My first question! 
Give me a little time... I'll post a few screenshots when I get home (at work now). It's going to a difficult one... I hope.
So here it goes:
Hint:
1) It's an old DOS games.
2) It's a strategy/RPG game... you know, Japanese RPG.
3) Not quite Goggle'able. But you can find a little about it on game hint/cheat sites.
4) As you can see from the screenshots, it is in Chinese.
The big bad boss shown in the introduction:

One of the hidden characters is a martial artist... idea copied from you-know-which-anime...
The protagonist is able to advance into one of the two classes... Hero or Sword Saint. If you go Hero, you can cast (not so) powerful spells...
No Japanse RPG-style game is without an overhead map:
Another hidden character. She's a Sword Saint as well, and this is the start up of her special move, Sonic Blade.
It will go in a straight line cleaving through a long line of enemies. Usually it's instant-kill for non-boss enemies.
